I am off for a breif bit of fresh air on my bike and will be back soon to keep the info going.

The journey back should take between two and three hours, so if you are coming to Folkeston that is a guide for you arrival time.

I was on the British Swimming website checking out the results from the age group nationals and recognised your face on the front page news.

Well done you!!!! It takes some guts to tackle that stretch of water!!!!

Anyway theres nothing like front page news for creating opportunities to catch up with people. I think it's about 29-30 years since I swam at Leeds with you.

However I do see your Mum occasionally officiating. One of my sons swims for Harrogate.

It would be good to catch up with you ....... after you have had a rest!!!! .....perhaps through Harrogate Swimming Club
